A Rule To Break!

I'm a first time mom. So, I subscribe to a magazine about parents. It's about how to be good parents, the development of babies and toddler, and many more a parent should be concerned of or should know. And I read one article that says, as parents you could break a rule and this rule is, 'Don't fight in front of your kids.' The editor said that one time, she and her brother were watching TV and suddenly they heard shouting in  their parents room. They were so afraid because they're thinking that their parents will divorce after that, but 30 years later their parents are still in love with each other and living happily together.  The magazine says that Parents should also let the kids know that they also have misunderstandings. And explaining to them that if moms and dads are quarreling that doesn't mean they're getting a divorce. But that it's one way of preventing it, and resolving your conflicts and misunderstanding.

True Friends

  • Mood:
  • Music:
Friends are special persons whom you know in the course of life. They're always there for you. I have 4 close friends when I was in college. We really had good times when we were in school. Eventhough we don't belong to the same religion, we did fine, just by respecting each others belief. Now, we're still keeping in touch eventhough we are far from each other.

Supportive Husband

  • Mood:

I wanted to learn how to cook. Whenever  I have time, I would search in the internet for an interesting menu, then I'll try cooking it. My husband is the one who's really interested in what I'm doing. When I'm finished he'll be the first to taste it. He'll then commend me for what I did eventhough sometimes I know it's not really good. But he'll encourage me more and more to practice to make it better. In that way I always have that courage to try and cook new menusand I know it  won't be spoiled because I know somebody will eat it.  I know he's very patient with me and supports me in everything I wanted to do.
